Hello World!

Yesterday Cecile wrote a recipe for Chouquettes in our CouchSurfing LA journal and launched our new Recipes & Cooking project!

The idea is that CouchSurfers might leave a recipe… or follow a recipe left by someone before them. So you’re sharing a culinary experience with someone in the past or future, who might be from a nearby country or across the globe, and who stood, or will stand, in the same kitchen as you, but at a different temporal moment. Not quite “ships passing in the night,” but people and cuisine and culture passing in the moments of time and place.
